But, in a country where more than half of the population is still struggling for Roti, Kapda, Makaan, Naukri, Chokri, Bijli , Paani and many other basic amenities’, it’s not easy for every child to get quality school education till 12th. The following incidents are making situation more worse:
- Rajasthan judge says “Peacock don’t have sex”
Peacocks don’t mate peahens but sire offsprings with their tears, according to a Rajasthan High Court judge Justice Mahesh Chand Sharma.
Peacock too has his qualities. He is a life-long celibate. He does not indulge in sex with peahen. The peahen gives birth after it gets impregnated with the tears of the peacock. A peacock or a peahen is then born… Lord Krishna used peacock’s feather for celibacy of the bird.”
2. Rajasthan minister : Cow only animal to inhale and exhale oxygen.
Rajasthan education and panchayati raj minister Vasudev Devnani has said: a) cow is the only animal that ‘inhales and exhales oxygen’ and that people need to understand its ‘scientific significance’.
b) diseases such as cold and cough are healed if one goes near a cow .
c) cow dung has ample quantity of vitamin B that results in soaking radioactivity.
However, in 2006 a UN Food and Agricultural Organisation report said that livestock, including cows, are “responsible for 18% of the greenhouse gases that cause global warming, more than cars, planes and all other forms of transport put together.”
3) Bihar: Teacher strips two minor girls in Begusarai as father fails to pay school uniform fee
In what can be called as shocking, two young girls were stripped and thrown out of the school in Begusarai district of Bihar as their father failed to pay the fee for their uniforms on time. The police informed that one of the girls was a class I student while the other one was in Class II.
4. Gujarat lady teacher lands in jail after stripping and showing obscene clips to kids in classroom
Students of Sharda Vidya Mandir in Porbandar, Gujarat, were caught in a fix after a teacher showed them obscene videos and passed lewd comments.Not only she danced and talked in an obscene manner, the teacher even threatened the little kids against informing their parents. She told them that they will be expelled from the school, which kept the students in fear.
The teacher’s misdemeanour came into light after one of her students complained about it to his parents.The students have even accused the teacher of taking them inside a room where she danced half-naked in front of them.
5. UP: School headmaster in Uttar Pradesh turns classrooms into poultry farm during summer vacation
A headmaster, of a primary school in Darshanpur in Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh was running a poultry farm in the classrooms of the school during summer vacations. Other livestock of the villagers were also found tethered in the school premises.
6. CBSE: Huge errors of upto 50 marks revealed in CBSE 12 evaluation. Here’ how the marks doubled:
Sonali: From 68 marks, she now scored 95
Samiksha: From mere 42 marks, her score doubled to 90
Most of the mistakes were in case of Mathematics and Economics papers.
7. The famous Bihar boards toppers scam:
2016: Bihar topper scam: I told Papa to get me passed but they went ahead and made me topper, says Ruby Rai.
A widely publicised TV interview of whom showed her struggling to answer basic questions and mispronouncing political science as “prodigal science” was arrested.
2017: Bihar Board 41-year-old topper Ganesh arrested for fraud, possessed fake name and has two kids.
Ganesh Kumar who topped from the Arts stream has been arrested for hiding his age. He fudged his age and changed his name to reappear for the matriculation (class 10) and class 12 exams. He had claimed that he was 24, but his actual age turned out to be 42. He is also a father of two children and his real name is Ganesh Ram.
Mr Kumar was asked few questions by the media on music in which he had scored 65 out of 70 in practicals.
He had a difficult time explaining what is ‘sur’, ‘taal’ and ‘matra’, considered the basics of music. Asked what did he do in music practicals, he unrhythmically sang a few lines of a Bollywood number.
